UIC Technical Services News Bowhead Science and Technology, LLC Awarded Contract for $15.6 Million from United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Washington, D.C., November 5 - Bowhead Science and Technology, LLC (BST) announced today that it has won a contract award for $15.6 million to develop comprehensive protection programs and plans to counter terrorist threats to USACE personnel and facilities. The work under this contract will be performed at various USACE locations throughout the U.S. BST's team will provide a broad range of technical and administrative support services which include the development of protection strategies, actions plans and possible solutions in the mitigation of terrorist threats. The BST team will support USACE Headquarters, Divisions and Centers to provide critically needed protection expertise to the Command Protection Program as directed by the Command Provost Marshall's Office. The formulation and application of cutting-edge concepts and processes developed by the BST team will further safeguard USACE's civil works infrastructure projects and administrative facilities across the United States. BST is known for its expertise in program management support and assistance. The company has proven capabilities in the area of acquisition program management for major aviation Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), as well as support for Unmanned Air Systems for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The company also provides technical and professional services to the U.S. Army Research Laboratory Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
